Private Lesson (1hr)

(For individual in-person services) This fee pertains to private lessons, allowing a student to receive personalized instruction in the Martial Arts based on their chosen discipline. During the private lesson, the student can choose from the following: Coordination, Balance, Speed, Power, Footwork, Eye Reflexes, Contact Reflexes, Forms ( Animals, Elemental, Weapons, etc..), Weapons, Fighting Strategies, Pressure Points, Meditation, Qigong (Breathing, Stretching, Visualization), Wooden Dummy Training, Internal Martial Arts (T’ai Chi, Xing Yi, and Bagua), Mountain Dragon Martial Arts, Aiki-Jujitsu, Push Hands, Chi Sao, and Unarmed Defense against weapons like Knife, Clubs/Sticks, and Pistol.

It's important to note that the fee does not cover training materials such as curriculums, testing fees, training weapons and personal gear, or DVDs. Additionally, this fee does not include seminars, as they are considered special events. Services outside the realm of Martial Arts, including Massage Therapy, are also not covered by this fee.

Please be aware that particular training sessions come with specific prerequisites, such as uniforms, either blank Gis (without logos from other schools) or those sanctioned by Self-Care Arts, along with essential safety equipment. Depending on your chosen martial art, you may need to arrange for your own personal training partner. Adhering to these requirements is crucial for a safe and productive training experience. In the event a partner is unavailable, throwing dummies are available for use or we can schedule you on a class date and pair you up with another experienced student.

Additionally, it is important to consult with your primary healthcare provider prior to participation to make sure you are healthy enough to participate in Martial Arts This applies to any partner(s) you bring with you for training. Disclosing all health problems that may impact your martial arts training is the responsibility of the student.
